• Cleanliness: 10 Very modern and new. Liked the hard surface floors throughout.
• Location: 10 Wonderful location right on the Plaza del Sol, the heart of the city.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 It is a very clean and well organized hotel, with a nice restaurant.
• Staff: 7.5 Some were business-like and efficient, others were very friendly and helpful. No bad experiences at all.
• Quietness: 7.5 Especially since our room had a balcony right on the street (2nd floor), the soundproofing is really very good.
• Room: 7.5 All the room we needed, good sized bathroom.
• Value for money: 7.5 Not cheap, but good value for the quality and location.

• Quietness: 5 It can get a bit noisy due to the activity every night in Puerto de Sol till the wee hours, but the rooms on the plaza have good soundproof window/doors and thick drapes that block enough comfortable sleeping

• Value for money: 10 In some ways I hate to give such a great review because the next time I plan a trip to Madrid this hotel might not be available or they may have raised their prices.
