• Positive: It was very central, out the door and you are at Kilometre Zero. It was clean and unpretentious.
• Negative: Hard to find initially, and Madrid nights can be noisy (gets quieter around 6am).

• Cleanliness: 10 Can't fault the cleanliness.
• Location: 10 Very central. You can get about Madrid very easily, but stepping right out into the middle is worth something in my book.
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 There weren't really any. Took a while to realise there was someone around all the time because the reception appeared to be closed most of the day.
• Staff: 10 When you found them (use the intercom at the outside door), they were very friendly and helpful.
• Quietness: Not rated Not a big problem for me, but if you are a light sleeper, then the nights may appear long.
• Room: 5 Basic, functional, on the small side but perfectly ok.
• Value for money: 5 Initially I thought it a little expensive but on reflection, again ok. Madrid has generally gotten expensive.
