Apart from an issue being unable to enter the hotel as reception was empty and needed them to unlock the main door it was fine! Hotel is going eco-friendly with the removal of single use plastics

Location is good for the stations, but the room was dated and decor needs refreshing. There is a problem with the shower temperature control. Both of us had a tepid shower during our stay. Ten minutes later it then ran normally. The maintenance people were sent away, only for it to run cold the following day. I can't fault their response time, but how to explain an intermittent fault? I thought the place was shabby, and expensive for the state of the building
