• Positive: First of all - great location !! The hotel is right in the center, only minutes’ walk away from all the main attractions, shopping and restaurant areas. The staff were extremely friendly and super helpful - gave us great advice on tours and even offered to help us in booking tickets to anything we needed. Check-in and check-out were swift and easy - no hassles. Breakfast was very good, and the fact that the hotels' breakfast / dining-room is actually a cafe (Cafe Varela) just adds to the "Chic". The room was nice, clean and had all the required accessories (we booked a Premium Double room). Bottom line - Fantastic Hotel !! Would recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid !
