• Location: 10 The location could not be better--it is in the precise center of Madrid within a few doors of the subway and shops and restaurants.

• Quietness: 7.5 Surprisingly, the room itself was very quiet, even though we had a balcony overlooking the square. The very, very heavy balcony doors blocked the sound very effectively.
• Room: 10 The room was tastefully decorated with high quality furniture and fabrics. Very spacious by European standards. Beautiful marble bathroom.
• Value for money: 10 Very good value for money.

• Location: 10 In the exact heart of Madrid. Couldn%27t be a better location!! Such fun to sit on my little balcony and enjoy the music, mimes, action at night when I was too tired to join in any longer!
• Common facilities and services: 10 free computer available in lobby, very "European" classical and comfortable. It%27s a small hotel and facilities in common areas are restful and gracious...not spacious or cavernous. Fun sidewalk restaurant...inside eating available also. I recommend the gaspachio!
• Staff: 10 Lovely, accommodating, friendly, helpful
• Quietness: 10 Inside very quiet...outside of my room (facing the plaza) was delightful with music, and evening chatter 8pm-about 1PM. Closing the thick, exterior doors muffled the wonderful business. I left the doors to the balcony open as much as possible to soak in the culture.
• Room: 10 The room was very clean, and uncluttered. Light wood flooring and furniture. small personal safe in room. As a single, I had ample space. the bathroom was marble with tub/shower, hair dryer, ample counter space and large mirror.
• Value for money: 10 No complaints except for USA exchange rate...which has nothing to do with the hotel.
