The Best Western Hotel 54 Barceloneta is located in a popular district of Barceloneta. It opened in February 2007 and is housed within the old fishermen’s association building. All of the rooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, a hairdryer, toiletries, telephone, safe, flat screen satellite TV, work desk, air conditioning and heating. The superior rooms have magnificent views of the city and the port. We have rooms for non-smokers. The hotel has other services such as 24-hour reception, newspapers, Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the hotel, a charged public car park available with prior reservation and the Skyline terrace with magnificent views of the city.

  • Cleanliness: Not rated Es wurde lediglich das Bett gemacht, aber weder geputzt noch die Abfalleimer geleert.
  • Location: 7.5 Tip top! Nahe zum Strand und nur ca. 15 Minuten Fussmarsch bis zur Ramblas. Viele Bars und Restaurants in der Umgebung.
  • Common facilities and services: 5 Das WC in der Lobby war wegen Unterhaltsarbeiten auf unbestimmte Dauer geschlossen. Keine Alternative vorhanden... Ein später Check-out oder ein Zimmer bis am Abend (zu einem bestimmten Aufschlag) war trotz spärlicher Belegung nicht möglich, oder nur zum normalen Übernachtungspreis eines DZ (von Euro 150!).
  • Staff: 5 Die Dame beim Frühstück war der Aufsteller! Immer gut gelaunt und freundlich!
  • Quietness: 2.5 Direkt an der Strasse, bei offenem Fenster vor allem am Wochenende viel zu laut.
  • Room: 5 Obwohl beschrieben mit Meersicht, musste man sich das eher vorstellen...Sicht auf die Bäume in den Bootshafen..

  • Positive: The two ladies who served us at Breakfast were very friendly! The breakfast itself was varied and enjoyable.
  • Negative: The bar was often unoccupied which meant we drank elsewhere - missed opportunity. The room was nice but we felt that the web site images were misleading - we expected a table and chair in the room, not just a desk with one chair.
